Can I pay with my Health Savings Account (HSA card) or Flex Spending Card?
Yes, we are proud to be able to offer this to our patients to help make this more affordable for you. This product is something that we recommend to our patients so we are able to allow you to use your FSA or HSA card to get Relaunch. Back
What is the best way to mix my Relaunch so there aren’t any lumps?
We recommend using a protein shaker called a “blender bottle.” Almost all of our patients will use that to mix the protein with water and Crystal Light for the liquid part of their diet. Crystal light is extremely low in calories, and there are a wide variety of flavors so you can mix and match them so you don’t get tired of the taste.
Our most popular recipe:
Then shake the blender bottle for about thirty seconds and once the foam settles you have a shake with no chunks in it. The key is to put the water in first so as soon as you put the Relaunch Protein on top you can start shaking it up before it tries to clump up. Putting it in the freezer after you shake it is a great way to make sure it is ice cold and ready to drink while the foam settles. Back
Can Relaunch protein and meal replacement help me get back on track with my weight loss?
Dr. Nicholson designed this product to help our patients meet their pre/post-op dietary needs, but also for those people that are trying to lose weight or maintain for the long run. Relaunch is intended to give your body the protein and fuel it needs to curb your appetite and make you feel full so you can reach your weight loss goals and keep the weight off. If you have been breaking your diet a bit more than you should, Relaunch is a great way to get back on track with your diet and promote lean muscle growth while reducing body fat. Back
Can I take ReLaunch Protein and Meal Replacement if I am lactose intolerant?
Relaunch contains less than 1% lactose; most of our patients have no problems with the lactose whether they are intolerant or not. Depending on the severity of your lactose intolerance, we cannot guarantee that Relaunch will not give our patients any issues.
Although many lactose intolerant patients are able to use our product, it does have some very minor amounts of lactose remaining in our concentrated whey isolate as it is a dairy derivative, so it really depends on your level of intolerance. If you are very intolerant to even trace amounts of lactose then we suggest taking a Lactaid Brand Fast Act chewable tablet prior to your first sip of any drink containing the protein powder. The Lactaid digestive enzyme will pre-digest any lactose in the product while it's in your stomach and will prevent any lactose from reaching your small intestine where it can cause problems. Lactaid Digestive Enzymes can be purchased in the over the counter section of any pharmacy/store.
Perhaps the best thing is to stop by the Coit clinic (1708 Coit Road, Suite 150, Plano, Texas 75075) for a free sample. If you try and it doesn’t work, or if you know your lactose intolerance is severe, then trial it with the Lactaid Enzymes and that should prevent any lactose intolerance symptoms. If you were to still react to the product then more than likely it's the protein part of the product that you are intolerant to and not the lactose. Back
